⭐ 2016 - Company founded

Founded in 2016 and accepted into a local startup accelerator in Cincinnati, Ohio. Humbly serving our clients, our Founders worked shifts as a banquet server for our partners.

🏢 2017 - Office in Macedonia opened

Opened an office in Skopje, Macedonia. From that point, this has been the heart of tech operations at Upshift.

🏙️ 2018 - Clients in 4 metro locations

Upshift serves clients in 4 metro locations (one of our new partners being Nashville Zoo). The first company conferences happened in the US and in Macedonia.

💸 2019 - 10 metro locations and institutional investors

Operating in 10 metro locations and first institutional Investors came on board including Recruit Holdings - the parent company of Indeed.com and Glassdoor.com

📈 2021 - 10x growth

We saw 10x growth and entered a number of new markets in Georgia, Texas, and Florida.

🚀 2022 - Operating in 25 metro locations with 60+ full time employees

After 10x growth in 2021, we’re operating in 25 metro locations and our full-time team is 60+ people strong.

Before, it was hard to find flexible work with good pay. Working on a rigid schedule often meant having to sacrifice family responsibilities, hobbies or other professional pursuits.

Upshift changes that. We put the control in the hands of Upshifters.

Upshifters get opportunities to work when they want, where they want and how much they want. Our app allows them to earn supplemental income, have a flexible schedule and have happier days at work.

Our organization is based on meritocracy. Being able to perform is something that we’re all focused on. Everybody does their share, and we all get better together. We are held accountable and rewarded for what we do, not for how others feel about us in the moment.
